In a restaurant, the menu is a list of food and beverages offered to customers and the prices. A menu may be à la carte – which presents a list of options from which customers choose – or table d'hôte, in which case a pre-established sequence of courses is offered.

Chholley Bhature

This dish is super tasty and packs lots of nutritious protein – the perfect option for a hungry tummy. With a savory gravy and just the right spices, chickpeas acquire a new identity as chole. 

Pav Bhaji

Pav bhaji is a street food dish from India consisting of a thick vegetable curry served with a soft bread roll. 

Poha

Poha, also known as pauwa, sira, chira, chivda, aval or avalakki, among many other names, is flattened rice originating from the Indian subcontinent. Rice is parboiled before flattening so that it can be consumed with very little to no cooking. 

Jalebi  

Jalebi is a popular sweet snack in South Asia, Middle East, Africa, and Mauritius. It goes by many names, including jilapi, zelepi, jilebi, jilipi, zulbia, jerry, mushabak, z’labia, zengoula or zalabia. 

Kachori

Kachori is a sweet and spicy deep-fried snack, originating in India subcontinent, and common in places with Indian diaspora and other South Asian diaspora. Alternative names for the snack include kachauri, kachodi and katchuri.  

Aloo Chaat

Alu chat is a street food originating from the Indian subcontinent, it is popular in North India, West Bengal in Eastern India, Pakistan and also in parts of Sylhet Division of Bangladesh. It is prepared by frying potatoes in oil and adding spices and chutney. 

Dosa

A dosa is a thin savory pancake in South Indian cuisine made from a fermented batter of ground black lentils and rice. Dosas are served hot, often with chutney and sambar. Dosa is a signature dish in South India and Sri Lanka, and is popularly served in their respective restaurants around the world.  

Samosa

A samosa is a fried South Asian pastry with a savoury filling, including ingredients such as spiced potatoes, onions, peas, meat or fish. It may take different forms, including triangular, cone, or half-moon shapes, depending on the region.  

Sandwhiches

Sandwich, in its basic form, slices of meat, cheese, or other food placed between two slices of bread. Although this mode of consumption must be as old as meat and bread, the name was adopted only in the 18th century for John Montagu, 4th earl of Sandwich.
